Aside from professional and technical writing, I am currently in the process of writing my first novel. Below are workshops and coursework I have participated in:
ASSEMBLY WRITING WORKSHOP
In a six week workshop sponsored by The Assembly in San Francisco, and led by poet Rachel Richardson of Left Margin LIT, we workshopped existing short stories, essays, and poems in a group setting, read works focusing on memoir and family, and participated in exercises the produced new writing as well.
NYU CREATIVE WRITING
Over two semesters I workshopped more than twenty works of short fiction and poetry, sharing them at NYU and Gallatin School readings.
INTERLOCHEN CENTER FOR THE ARTS
Even at a young age, creative writing has always been my passion. I spent the summer in Northern Michigan in the famed Writing House honing my skills, which have brought me to where I am today. I will always cherish my summer as a creative writing major at Interlochen Center For The Arts.
